Client Testimonial

John Turyan, former H.J. Heinz Co. executive and chairman of the Builders Guild Advisory Council, was introduced to Value of the Person by his secretary, who had encountered Wayne Alderson when she smashed into his car! She was amazed at his caring concern for her well-being and wanted to find out more about the man and his philosophies, so she read Stronger than Steel.

At that time Heinz were considering pulling out of soup manufacture altogether as the plant was failing fast. As a desperate measure she mentioned Value of the Person to John Turyan who had been given the job to either turn the place round or close the plant down. John got in touch with Wayne, and as they say, the rest is history.

The workforce went through Value of the Person training, new policies and procedures were implemented, the plant was transformed, productivity and quality improved dramatically and the Heinz corporation were persuaded not to drop the Heinz soup product line.
